Public Safety as a Fundamental Responsibility
Calgarians are not feeling safe in our city. This is not the Calgary we grew up in and everyone deserves to feel safe. We will invest in protective services— Police, Fire, By-law, and Peace Officers to ensure safer communities. Further investments are needed for transit safety, social disorder and crime prevention programs.
Calgary is falling way behind on the national average of Police Officers to Population ratio. We will hire 500 more Police Officers to help address this. Calgary is also the only major city without a Downtown police station!

Reverse Blanket Rezoning! Encourage higher densities through redevelopment that respects community character. Ensure that all planning developments are made with proper input from the community. New suburban developments must demonstrate financial viability transparently.

Improved Municipal Infrastructure
Prioritize the upkeep of all city infrastructure while strategically investing in key capital projects to enhance our community’s resilience and growth. This includes improving transit options, road maintenance and repair, water infrastructure and efficient snow removal.
